Identification method of filter cloth for filter bag
1. First look at the color, gloss and texture of the press cloth. In general, a large chemical fiber press cloth will have a whitish sheen. The small chemical fiber press cloth is a dull gray, and some filter felt has a light yellow color. Also, pay attention to the gloss of the press cloth. Usually long fiber press cloth has a smooth, shiny surface and short fiber press cloth has hair on the surface. Also, the texture of the press cloth, such as twill, plain, these lines, can help you to determine the type.
2. Touch the press cloth again to determine softness and density. First, let's talk about softness. Staple fibers like 208 and 729 are as soft as wool velvet. 734,747,758,927 also have the same feeling, but there are differences in thickness and density. While 3927 is woven from the same material, but the thickness and density are different. Very rough, firm, not soft. However, if it is soft or rough, you should feel the sample a little and write it down. It is impossible to say for sure. Second, let's look at the density. The density can be determined by hand, and it can also be counted, such as how many filaments there are in 10 centimeters. Note that the corresponding press cloth specifications have their own density coefficients, which can be roughly identified by comparison.
3. Take a sample and weigh it. The main purpose is to determine the thickness of the press cloth. If possible, take a small piece and weigh it (grams per square meter).
4. Burn it. Generally speaking, polyester material burning, will appear black smoke, and polypropylene material burning, will appear green light. The rest of the fire is inaccurate, difficult to say.
